Marks Mechanics have been servicing the cars of Townsville since 1991 and we take great pride in providing full car service and repairs for all makes and models including commercial fleet vehicles. We also offer a mobile breakdown and repair service.

Greg McDonald and Tracey Wise are long terms friends and have taken up the opportunity to purchase the business. Along with their respective sons Damian and Jaxon, they hope to continue providing a high level of service to the existing customers of Marks Mechanics, along with the new ones in a family orientated workplace.

Greg has been in the mechanical trade for over 41 years and has worked at Marks Mechanics for 23 of them. He firstly worked as a foreman and then as the Workshop Manager for the last 15 years.

Tracey has been a long-term Qld public servant and now works in the business full time.

• Damian McDonald (Greg's son) has worked for Marks Mechanics for over 9 years and is a fully qualified Mechanic specialising in diagnostics and is a licensed Roadworthy Inspector.
• Jaxon Wise (Tracey's son) completed his apprenticeship with Marks Mechanics in 2020 and returned to the business in December 2022. Jaxon is a Subaru Specialist Technician, a licensed Roadworthy Inspector and also holds an ARC Tick Automotive Air-conditioning License.
• Rodney Brander previously worked for Marks Mechanics for over 9 years off and on and left the business for a short time only to return at the beginning of 2024. Rodney is a highly experienced technician being in the industry for over 40 years. He is a licensed Roadworthy Inspector and has a passion for older cars.
• Adrian Ries has worked for Marks Mechanics for over 3 years and is a fully qualified technician and holds an ARC Tick Automotive Air-conditioning License. Adrian specialises in engine rebuilding and cylinder head repairs, has a love of motor sport, and has a keen interest in anything automotive.
